So ATF says they based their decision to classify the Rare Breed trigger as a machine gun based on information from 4Chan
Rare Breed Trigger Update! That was a smart move glow boys. Attached File |

It's reassuring to know that our government overlords use creditable sources such as 4chan when interpreting the law

I guess they better go after the 9000 penises and the prototype stealth dinghy while they're at it.

I look at it from an economic perspective. $1 a boolit gets expensive. Might as well throw silver dimes out of your pocket as you go down the street. |

ATF got to see the automated videos of how it worked before getting a physical copy. Of course they knew they were going to classify it as a machinegun.

If I talked like that dude, I sure as shit would not be making internet videos.

Lol at the FATF.
They going to burn up more women and children over non-compliers? |

Guarantee that Rob Lopez was busily looking at the nastiest porno that 4chan had to offer when he mistakenly clicked on that.

Poor Rob. He probably went there for work a long time ago, and now goes there for fun.

Seriously, this is obviously crazy.
No federal agents or agency could possibly be this unprofessional. Please, just stop. |

Oddly enough, I googled the phone # in that pic, and this popped up:

The one they approved appears to function differently. The info I could find seems to say if you hold pressure on the trigger it is never forced far enough forward/down by the carrier to come off the disconnector and you have to actually release pressure off the trigger for it to reset and be pulled again. Videos I watched didn't look like it was much if any faster than just a short reset trigger.

I don't know how those dickless assholes look themselves in the mirror each day.
If my kid was ATF I'd slap the shit out of him |

Can someone explain to me what a rare breed trigger does?
I watched the animation, it just looks like a normal trigger with the parts in different spots. Edit: I think I figured it out. So to my understanding, if you keep pressure on the trigger it will continue to fire until you let off the trigger or run out of ammo? Sounds like a machine gun to me. Now I think people should be able to have full auto, but I don't see this going well for the people selling them. |

View Quote It just automatically resets the trigger, much faster than you can do it yourself (unless your name is Miculek). You still have to pull it again to fire another round, but there's no concious release motion required to reset. |
