I can't take any of the new sissified stuff.

I only care for three country singers, and that right there is one of the them. The other two are Toby Keith and George Strait.

Ditto that, the new shit SUCKS.  I can't tell you how many new york yuppie carpetbaggers I run into that are "country" fans, yet when I pop in a David Allen Coe CD they bitch and moan.

Messina, Brooks, Keith, and whoever else is played on the radio these days is god aweful.

I like George Jones. He did one song that I always liked. It goes something like "If drinking don't kill me, her mammeries will." Something like that.

Norm you are not using the right Coe CD. If you pop in the correct one, you will see their eyes get big & their jaws hit the floor.

Its amazing the responce you get out of some people when they hear "that" CD.

Amen, Bro!!!!!!!  The "new" country sucks ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bunch of damn hippy queers singin' bubble gum pop.

I like Yokam, old Straight, Haggard, Daniels, the old MTucker Band, etc.

Also love OLD Tammy Wynette, Dolly, etc.

For country/rock check out Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers...best Southwestern Country / Rock band EVER.  It caters mostly to us folks from TX to AZ but anyone can enjoy the hell out of it.

Keni Thomas
Luther Wright and the Wrongs

Some of the best country music ever recorded has never been played on the radio.

You WILL like www.khyi.com.  Those in north TX are damn lucky to have it.  I've got it piped through the house via the web.  Lemme' know what you think.

I like Southern rock, but that's as far as I go.  I hate the steel guitar, it's like scratching a chalkboard...
