I grew up with IBC. It rocks but it is old hat.

A&W on tap is good. Bottled it sucks.
Link Posted: 5/13/2004 7:44:47 PM EDT

A&W in the gallon glass jugs was better, but no longer - IBC is king.

It is, most assuredly, the shiznit.

I must agree with you on that,

its the bizzomb.

I love an Ice Cold IBC root beer in a glass bottle.

If you ever want to try heaven, find some Abita (yeah the beer manufacturers,) Root Beer,
made with 100% pure louisiana sugar cane, oh it is so good you will slap yourself to wake up.

Sprecher makes like four different sodas, all of them are rather tasty, but I haven;t tried the lo cal RB yet, ok I actually have no plans to ever try it but still they make it.

They also make some great seasonal beers in addition to the oes they make year round.

IBC does, indeed, rule the mass-produced root beer world, IMHO.

Anyone remember this brand.

When I was a kid it sure seemed good, but what "pop" didn't taste good back then? I haven't seen Frostie around here for a long time (15 yrs or so).

Down the street at the local stop and rob they still carry frostie brand.

Its kinda disheartning to drink something that noone has seen for 15+ years,

oh well what doesn't kill us makes us really really sick, or something like that.

IBC is great!  If you like the taste of rootbeer you ought to try some fresh Sassafrass tea. Dig a fresh root, wash it good, then scrape some root bark into a pot and make the same as iced tea.

IBC is excellent, in root beer, cream soda, and black cherry varieties.

Dominion Root Beer is superior, however.

Stewart's is much better than IBC.  Of course the best root beer anywhere is Coit's in OKC.  Can't beat that stuff.

All I've ever had was Hires, Dad's, A&W, and Barq's, so I guess I'll have to try some of the others.  Now you've got me thinking about making a Brown Cow.

I'm down with their Cream Soda, but I prefer Stewart's Root Beer.
