Hey, all you a-holes who decided to chime in about how Metallica sucks or not as good as they used to be:
Look at the TITLE OF THE THREAD. It addressed fans of Metallica. That means, if you don't like Metallica or think they're sell-outs or whatever, the thread and the info isn't for you anyway. I could give a fuck what you think about Metallica. I've heard it all from the haters, I dont think you're somehow cooler than me for not liking them. |

I can acutally remember seeing them when cliff based base for them..(hope I'm not giving away my age..). They were dark and heavy and I loved it...but now as I get older my tastes have changed. I think that they are responsible along with bands like Maiden etc. for bringing Metal to the mainstream.

The show in Madison WI last week kicked ass. Hopefully the August Milwaukee show is as good.
That being said, I question the whole movie thing. Regardless of their reasons for making it, it appears as a last big opportunity to cash in at the bank. |

St. Anger could very well be a kick-ass album, if cleaned up. I have no idea why they released such a poorly recorded album.
