anything less than 35 bucks is a fake IMHO. I have one of the fakes here. bought it for five bucks. it's chinese crap and poorly assembled.

I honestly would be willing to spend up to 70$, even for a used one (provided the use was as a knife for a marine). Less than 70$ for a new one would be cool too tho.

You can still be real Ka-bar knives with the leather wrapped handle and the letters USMC about $60 at the gunshow, they are made in the USA.

most military bases will sell them for about 42 bucks. the last one i bought (4 years ago) cost $32

I've seen NIB real USMC Ka-Bars at gunshows as low as $39.

Cheapest I've seen is mid 30s, and that was 10 years ago. I'd expect to pay mid 30s at the least on ebay, and up at gunshows or stores but you get to look at them closer there.
I have a "modern interpretation" from the Spec Plus line of Ontario Knife Company.

I got mine on sale at Big 5 out here about a year ago, it was 35 bucks.
