Hey. Got this POS loaner computer from school (1.4 gHz, 256 mb AMD laptop) and I was just wondering if anyone knows any good freeware shooting games available for download. Was getting into America's Army, but alas, this machine can't handle it.

Serious Sam 1 and 2 (gold pack) it is kinda fantasy but its funny and is plenty of shooting.  You should be able to pick it up at wally world or someplace similar for like 9.99 or you can find it on www.gamespot.com for 4.99.

Go buy one of the Delta Force 2 or Land Warrior games for real cheap.  They are fun to play and you can play on the internet for free.  Internet play is a little sucky because cheating is pretty rampant, but look for some of the smaller public games and it is OK.

You also might find a cheap copy of SWAT 3, which will haul ass on that machine.  Love that damn game.
