Can Trump turn around and request the DA’s tax and campaign contribution records?

Quoted: In my mind we have to ask if trump is an asset or a liability to the conservative cause. Although I may agree with a lot of his policies and actions, deep down I think that like most politicians in Washington he is a self obsessed narcissist. Does he care about himself or the country? Is he willing to sacrifice the future of our nation on the altar of his own ego? If he splits the Republican Party so they can't win an election for the next 8 years he is not doing us any favors. If so, then they are actually doing us a favor by bringing him down. Ironically it is like the NRA. Everyone with eyes to see knows that lapierre has raped the organization for his own personal gain , but no one has been able to get rid of him. If the government can do that for us then they are doing us a favor in the long run- short term pain for long term benefit. View Quote The Republicans are part of the swamp. They, along with the Democrats, need eliminated as political parties, and we need to start over. |

View Quote It is the Republican Party that needs to be brought down and destroyed. The Trent Lotts, John Boehners, Paul Ryans, Mitch McConnell's, John McCains, Mitt Romneys and their ilk have lied to and deceived us too many times. They are the ones more interested in their own power than doing what’s right. As a small example, how many times did they beat their chests about doing away with Obamacare? We elect a President who waits with pen in hand to sign the bill and what did they do? They ran away like the spineless moral cowards they are. They owned the House, Senate, and Presidency and didn’t do jack shit to support the President. Early on in Trump’s term, Rush said if the Republicans would support Trump’s agenda America would prosper to a degree that would make the Democrats irrelevant for a generation. He was right. The democrats knew that as well, and considered him such a threat that they are still bent on his destruction. |

Quoted: Everybody talks about Trump's ego, but nobody acknowledges what he sacrificed to serve as president. He wasn't making millions off of backdoor deals with China or lobbyists like most politicians. I don't think he ever kept a single paycheck and he rarely took a vacation. He's had his life inspected by every bureaucracy and intel agency in the government as has his family members. The media literally fabricated lies and repeatedly ran them on prime time news. Some mistakenly call it ego, I see it as an incredible will and fortitude to be attacked every day for four years to serve the American people, uphold the Constitution and try to make meaningful changes in American lives and businesses without giving up and having very few allies. Personality aside, we would be blessed to ever have another POTUS like Trump and that is exactly why the swamp is still going after him and attempting to send a message to anyone else willing to challenge the swamp culture of corruption. Talk about ego...take a look at the Republican Party. Your elitist rulers willing to compromise your liberties for their pockets and continued power. I think you're off base on where to point the blame. Trump was far from perfect, but he was likely the least corrupt POTUS in my 50+years. I can't say that about the majority of GOP members in Congress. The Republican Party needs to be attacked and if necessary split or destroyed to removed the cancerous traitor that infest it. Either conservatives eliminate the status quo party, or they leverage Trump's momentum and become a new party. There are no other options other than to accept the slow decline into socialist slavery with the current GOP. ROCK6 View Quote Well put. |

I spent half my career in commercial RE working directly for owners and they did not get to make up their own values for loans or Ins companies. Professional appraisers were hired by the banks and Ins companies to come in to determine values. So unless the banks and Ins companies ignored protocol because he was a favored client or the appraises were slipped an envelope to cook the books that would seem to place these issues squarely on others. It’s truly terrible, when you consider that the money being used to fund this, was stolen from the tax payers, some of whom are good people.
