 The non-liberal-pansy Baldwin is the team leader, and as they're walking along on some planet he's talking about how he came to have 4 kids. Funny stuff. Even though there was no violence or vietnamese killing it reminded me of his character from Full Metal Jacket |

Usually I'd agree on the download bit (arhhh, shiver me timbers, a pirates life for me...) but every Firefly boxed set that gets sold is a slap in the face to the fvcktard FUX network suits who cancelled the series. "Nobody was watching it..." "Really? Then why is the boxed DVD set breaking all kinds of sales records?? Hmmmm???" |

But you are also giving your money TO Fox. I bought the set, actually 'pre-purchased' it. I made a copy for a fellow member, but it is still a dilemma: let the sales numbers show it's popularity or get more folks on the bandwagon for the movie and probable new series. ByteTheBullet (-: |

I bought the Firefly DVD set on the recommendations here from ARFCOM ... I had never seen one single episode of Firefly.
It ROCKS. I just got in the mail this weekend and spent the better part of the weekend watching the discs. I'm not a fan of the whole cowboy/Wild West thing and I still liked it. Definitely a worthy addition to any DVD collector's library! BTW I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't figure out Jayne was Animal Mother until around the third episode.

Watched Full Metal Jacket this weekend with the girlfriend's son who is getting ready to go into the Navy. Wanted him to get a taste of what boot camp will be like although I know it's pussified now...but no need to tell him that.

DAMN I LOVED that show. It was replaced with FASTLANE! A total piece of SHIT! Canceled after two seasons. Firefly ROCKED.
I believe I will pick up the DVD set on the way home. |
