It just occurred to me that these are Fish and Game cops. Why do they need to train in a "Shoot House"? The reason stated is Homeland Security, but I can't for the life of me picture terrorist scenarios in buildings out in the damn woods, swamp or on the water. If anything I would assume they need training on one-on-one or one-on-many combat in the open. These guys have kind of a scary job since they operate alone in the sticks and talk to giys with loaded weapons a lot. But "building clearance"?
Tierney said a dozen officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's Special Operations Group were training on Thursday at the range, which the Withlacoochee Technical Institute operates.
