Im thinking of buying this Jules Jurgensen titanium watch.
do you think its worth $89.97? titanium watch

To me? Right now? No. But it is a sharp looking watch, and it might just be a good deal at that price. I've heard of the brand but that's all I know about it.

$89 bucks. I say give it a go. Cheap enough that if you get 2yrs use out of it, I would consider it breaking even. Has a nice styling. Could be casual and can be dressy.
I bought an Invicta watch for $129 of HSN about 6yrs ago. It looked like a Rolex clone. It had an exhibition back and automatic. I figure, what the hell. If it runs for 2yrs I break even. Still running to this day and keeps an accurate time. Just saw that same model on Shop NBC. Now selling for $350 |

Invicta and Sandoz are great if you like the Rolex style but can't get the real deal.

Shit, I can look in NYC and see if it will say the real IWC on it, rather than Jurgenson. I bought an automatic Cartier Roadster the other day for $100 and it's really nice. Tons of compliments and none the wiser and its a great knockaround watch. Can't beat it.
Find an expensive watch and I can almost guarantee I can find a knockoff with a good swiss movement in it. My wind up Franck Muller is going on its 5th year of perfect service. The real watches only come out on special occasions. |
