Type-89
I read about it and it sounds like a really nice rifle.. neatest sounding thing is that the gas piston is tapered (right word?) at the front so that the gas gets the pistol moving more gradually to reduce wear on the rifle |

it looks like they borrowed designs from other rifles to make the type89? it looks like a mixture of HK, FNC, AR180 combined into one design. I bet it's more reliable than the AR15 ?

It has a four postion selector (safe-semi-full-burst). The burst funtion is a separate unit that's designed so that if it does break or fail, the rifle still functions in the other three positions (safe-semi-full).
