I am watching Henry Kissinger on FOX News. In every occassion I have heard him speak, although very interesting in his views, I find myself wanting to go to sleep. I find that Alan Greenspan has the same affect on me. Both are bright and have something worth listening to. But damn!! That monotone voice is just a snoozer.

You guys have any other snoozer speakers you can think of?

Most of the people on my Most Boring Orators list are Democrats – Ted Kennedy, Joe Lieberman, Robert Byrd, Al Gore...and yes, John Kerry.

The problem isn't with their subject matter, but rather with the delivery: It isn't 'speech' per se, but rather 'sing-song'. I suspect that it comes from the conceit of believing that everything you say is a pearl of infinite wisdom.

Kissinger is certainly right up there with Greenspan.

More bores - Micheal Dukakis, Al Gore, Bob Dole, Robert Reich, Walter Mondale, Steve Forbes.

Everytime I hear James Carville I just want to drop a humongous democratic turd in the shitter! He gets my vote for the biggest idiot/boring speaker.
