I ordered my free smart card reader and today it was sitting infront of my door. So can I ask what this thing does?

It reads smart chips on cards such as Amex Blue. So, unless you have such a card, it doesn't do shit.

You take it and read your Dish TV card
then you get a writer 150-250 and write a blank smart card free dish TV. Of course that is illegial and I only mention it so that people do not violate the law and get into trouble. |

Duh!
It reads smart cards. I think you'll find that books, magazines, and internet discussions are much more interesting than smart cards, however. |

You can encode a smart card to allow access to your PC or laptop with them installed. Our new Dell's prompt you to insert a smart card or enter your password at the Windows XP logon, but we don't have any cards.

My brother-in-law uses the RSA key and really likes it, but I like the smartcard concept. |

Use ? Well you plug it in so the Feds can listen in to every conversation in your house . Plus it comes with a built in Cell Tap , so they can tap all of your cell phone calls . Not to mention it tracks all of your money for the Irs . and then the real kicker . Hang on a second there is a knock at the door.......
