This was one of our days you were stripped to one layer at 1100, and by 1300 you were putting it all back on.  By the next morning we had 12” of snow.

A hunting pic with no dead animals? Sounds like the entirety of my duck hunting trips this year.

That's my father-in-law in the tree stand looking the opposite direction.
Says he never saw the deer until checking the camera.

I love this picture.  It reminds me of visiting my aunt at Lake Lanier, GA.

Well said.

What part of WI are you in?

Southern WI, E-SE of Madison.

None of the pics were from down here though, lol. SD, WY, northern WI, Lake Winnebago.

I have a couple good ones from down here but I couldn't easily find them.

This bug made it as far as I could see it without getting eaten.
And it was only about four months behind scheduled in hatching
Lucky, but doomed to die without even a chance of mating

I was able to get really close up to this steelhead in an Erie tributary
It looked much better in real life.   Maybe standing 2’ away from it - while I was being cheap and recovering a fly that got hung up on a branch overhanging the stream.   They weren’t biting there anyways

She got released.   Little Juniata brown trout
I didn’t catch any bigger ones than about 12” this past summer
But I was rusty.   I hadn’t fished much for several years when my Dad’s health (lungs) really started to decline

I miss fishing with him

Then some relatives of this bug decided it needed at rest.  But it’s a little fuzzy.  I was afraid of dropping my iPhone in the river, so it didn’t focus good enough

Look closely and you will see Bigfoots face and shoulders.  Dead center of picture.
