I met my friend tonight to do some flying in his Cessna. In the next hangar over was a gentleman who was refinishing 2 chinese trainers that looked identical to a japanese "kate" from WWII. These things are just like an ak. Rough, ugly but surprisingly raw and sexy. When he gets them finished I get a ride in one.[beer] I'll let you guys know how it handles.

They wouldn't be Nanchangs would they?  They are pretty cool, especially the radial engines.  Nothing compares to the sound of a radial.  Make sure to request a bunch of aileron rolls so you can puke in your shirt.  [puke]

I'm not sure, I was to busy drooling, they have the long glass cockpit like the "kates" off of black sheep squadron. I'm def. up for some puking in that bird.
