The UN cannot force the US to change our constitution. They have no soverign right to do so.

I wouldn't say don't worry about it because it does represent another challenge for US gunowners,  but this proposal is absolutely preposterous.

Thomas Paine once said:
"Arms, like laws, keep the invader and plunderer in awe and preserve order in the world as well as property."

Yeah,  but right or wrong,  those unconstitutional anomalities were because OUR govt. made a decision (legislation, case law, etc.) to do so.  The UN is not even close to having any say in our constitutional matters...

When an outside organization such as the UN starts dictating what can and can't be in our constitution, the S will definitely be HTF and anyone with a sense of national pride will go berserk.

Ya hit the nail on the head.

Some people may point to the treaty supremacy clause, but treaties can't violate the Constitution or rights any more than Congress can. Treaties are basically just a Senate Passed law, and can easily be legislated out of existence

Such talk disappoints people with wet-dream fanatasies of killing UN troops or other such nonsense!

Seriously, the supremacy clause just ensures laws made pursuant to federal authority (whether passed by congress or treaties) trump state laws; it also forces state courts to recognize such.
