US soveriegnty, I am not overly concerned about UN military action. Without the Russkis or Chinese, the average UN trooper couldn't pour piss out of a boot - with the instructions printed on the heel. If the Chinese involve themselves, consider this: If you divide the amount of ammo on hand by the avg. number of rounds expended per kill, then compare that to the Chinese army - WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH AMMO TO KILL THEM ALL!

I'd first like to see some hard numbers to support the last statement. Also, remember, it would be the combined effort of the entire US military, the Reserves, the entire National Guard System, and about 80 million or more citizens that would fight off an attempt to invade this country. Plus the gun owners could easily arm the rest of the country if need be. Then there would be the problem of controlling the entire population of the US, even if they won. It would be a Pyrrhic Victory, it would be way to high a price to pay to keep us in submission.
Of course, the UN's policies of disarmament, not only of the citizenry, but of the armed forces as well, anything is hypothetically possible.
