I have the Custom Shop version, the SDP.

Shoots like a dream.

To the poster that had the trigger change on him: something is wrong there. Triggers should NEVER change, certainly not into "mashed potato's".

There is something wrong with it. Mine is older than yours, over 8k rounds and the trigger is far from mush.
I am not going to recommend tearing down the fire control group, It appears pretty complex, but there is probably something wrong in there. That is the only place Glock wins over CZ. The sear cage on a CZ has a lot going on in there, possibly too much, but my guns have not given me any trouble so I’ve not messed with them.

If you are stateside send it back to CZ or Cajun for a look.

Mine is from 2014 and didn't have any sort of trigger issues and has a lot more than "a few" magazines through it.

My CZ P-01 Steel Frame can be.

Edit: I can post pictures again, neat.

I believe the Omega series pistols can be converted to safety as well.

I have a number of P-01's, Compacts, and PCR's. (amongst other models)Some purchased new, and, more than a few Israeli Police turn ins. With some very basic modifications including polishing of internal parts, lightened mainspring, extended firing pins, swapping out of some other minor parts, and addition of short trigger reset upgrades, CZ's have replaced my long standing decades daily carry of Glocks.

With some basic mechanical skills and a short learning curve, CZ's can readily be finely timed to either competition standard, or for those more suited to daily carry.

I bought one and had a full cgw package done to it without ever even shooting it, I was never so excited to shoot a gun that quickly turned to regret.
The gun shot good but the beaver tail done something weird to the web of my hand and after 1 mag my hand hurt so bad I couldn't shoot it. I've never had any issue like that before or since.

Love mine. Got from Top Gun Supply for $459 during the panic buying of '08 when CZ-USA imported P-01's with the European designation: "75D Compact" on the slides to meet demand (P-01 is the US market designation)

It's my EDC.

Son and I have shot the hell out of it.
Easily the most accurate centerfire pistol I own.

Made my own grips

While not a P-01, I picked up a brand new PCR today.

I've been carrying a 8 round single stack pistol for a long time. Recent events have made me reconsider.

Have a stainless full size 75B, and trust the CZ line more than any other handgun.

Got on a grip making/homemade micarta kick for my 1911's couple of years ago and thought it would be cool to make these.

Quite a bit more involved inletting the backs to fit the frame and contouring the palm swells as opposed to the simple slabs that make up 1911 scales but I like how they turned out.

My P-01 was my first centerfire pistol I ever bought. I think I bought it in the early 2000s. It's still my nightstand gun and I love it. There's a P-01 Omega suppressor ready at a local shop but they are asking $698 for it, which sounds a bit pricey to me. Even at that price I'm tempted to get it since it's in grey.

I adore my Tristar C100, which is an aluminum-framed version and brings 15+1 rounds of 9mm to the CCW game. It is also many ounces lighter than the steel-framed versions from CZ.

Will never sell!

The P01 is aluminum and there are 15 round mags.
