On the SKS, the wood stock and lower part of reciever hangs down too far to get it in all the way(tried that with an AK drum)even on the model that takes the AK mags(because the 30s are flat all the way and the drums go wide abruptly) Never heard of one made for the SKS.

ok, USA i think makes one, it holds 75 rds i think, their is one of gunbroker now. these mags are made for the SKS so i belive they WOULD fit. but i dont know.

Had one some years back. Got mine from "Federal Ordance". They were the typical made in China 75 round drum for the AK47 except they have a slightly narrower mag neck and have the long front piece that slides up into the receiver / stock. Mine functioned fine but made the rifle extremely heavy and the "novelty" wore off after several outings. I think I paid about $125 for mine, but like I said that was quite a few years ago.

I bought one but the drum never did work right. The angle to feed was off, even tried fmj, cut the tower off to reangle and still doesn't work.
The SKS was a Norinco, haven't tried on any others. |
