These are pics of my lower warehouse buildings on the Mississippi river yesterday.

My levees held but the water pressure created  boils (like a spring) that appeared on the building side of the levees & no way the pumped could keep up.   Got everything out except some crating material.

The river came up some more today but it seems to be slowly falling now.   Watch out down river!

Back in 93 those tugs were docked in the plant door with gangplanks into the factory & boat to land at other end.

These pics are NOT RRA,  they are 2-300 miles north of me in IL.  The rain that brought this quick rise was over the weekend north of us but mostly in IA this time.  But there have been fairly constant showers all over the upper midwest for several weeks & it all finds it's way to the Mississippi.

This one is the 3rd highest ever.

1973 was just a little higher & 1993 was 4 feet higher.

Hey Grin:

Hate that you have to go through this crap again.

One entire side of the county I live in is bordered by the Mighty M.

I have seen some things from this river that still amaze me to this day.  I remember 93' well.

Hang in there and watch out for those tugs.
