That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 17.1-805.1 as follows: § 17.1-805.1. Discretionary sentencing guideline midpoints; act of domestic terrorism. A. For purposes of this section, an act of domestic terrorism includes any violation that is an act of violence as defined in § 19.2-297.1 or any felony violation of § 18.2-52, 18.2-52.1, 18.2-53, 18.2-53.1, 18.2-56.1, 18.2-57, 18.2-83, 18.2-108.1, 18.2-121, 18.2-127, 18.2-128, 18.2-138, 18.2-186.4, 18.2-279, 18.2-282, 18.2-282.1, 18.2-289, 18.2-300, 18.2-308.1, 18.2-308.2, 18.2-308.2:01, 18.2-312, 18.2-423, 18.2-423.01, 18.2-423.1, or 18.2-423.2, with the intent to (i) intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) influence the policy of a local, state, or federal government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) disrupt the conduct or workings of a local, state, or federal government. B. In addition to any increases in the midpoint of an initial recommended sentencing range calculated in accordance with § 17.1-805, the midpoint of the recommended sentencing range for any act of domestic terrorism shall be further increased by 200 percent in all cases. 2. If they wanted to pass these gun laws before 1/20, they could likely pull it off. A simple majority is all that is required for quorum in each house, and 4/5ths majority of those voting is all that is required to pass emergency legislation. They could show up at midnight with no Republicans in attendance, satisfy the quorum requirements and the 4/5th of those voting requirement, and push these bills through with immediate effect. Translation: You need a simple majority of those voting, and a minimum of 2/5ths of the total members, to pass anything. For emergency bills you can skip some steps, but then require 4/5ths of those voting. Let's do the numbers: HOUSE: 55 D, 45 R Minimum present for quorum: 51 Minimum votes for 2/5ths: 40 Minimum votes for emergency bill if only Democrats are present (assuming all 55 D's are there): 44 SENATE: 21 D, 19 R Minimum present for quorum: 21 Minimum votes for 2/5ths: 16 Minimum votes for emergency bill if only Democrats are present: 17 Do it bitches. Please. Do something that stupid. |

Violence. They simply are not capable of comprehending what that would look like. Let’s break this down. Out of 100k protesters, lets say more than half are armed. The magazine capacities will likely range from 15 to 60 rounds. Averaging it all out... a safe estimate 50,000 people with an Average capacity of dumping 30rds ready. Some are faster, others slower to react and fire. Given all of that, in the first sixty seconds, about 1.5 million rounds would be discharged at various targets. By the three minute mark, with reloads and faster reaction, they would probably surpass 6 million rounds expended total. All within a half of a square mile. Think of that three minutes.... nobody wants that. |

I honestly hope they pass every motherfucking Communist trash bill on the docket. Because if they did that it would finally wake up the FUDD bastards that negotiate away our rights every time they can. Make them felons for owning some Barnes all copper bullets. Make them terrorists for speaking forcefully at their BoS meetings. Arrest everyone with a over 10 round magazine. Check in mother's purses for illegal guns. Arrest people for having a single .38 round in the bottom of their pocket. The mask would be all of the way off. Heck - I hope there is vigorous and extreme enforcement. Roadblocks, door to door searches, total Gestapo madness - all of it would spell the end of the Democratic party in VA and probably most of the South.
I hope they do it because that is how we win. That is how we become We the People again - we have to unite against something. And the Dems would make a fine target. So please. Please do it. Fucking bring it you yellow bastards that I'm sure are reading this. I double fucking dog dare the Communist trash to actually put their money on the line and go through with what they've threatened. I just want to reiterate an idea I posted earlier: It would be good to have a mechanism in place to fundraise, so that if any LEO in VA is faced with an unlawful order concerning gun rights, etc, etc, we can offer them the freedom to resign and seek employment elsewhere while we pay the a weekly stipend to cover expenses. View Quote It's nice to imagine or believe that dozens or hundreds or thousands will toss their badge on the ground and walk out, but it's simply not going to happen. It hasn't happened anywhere this stuff has been implemented. Not one is throwing away their current and future employment prospects (and pensions). A promised "stipend" is not going to change that. Such ideas are not even worth a momentary thought. |
