Actually might no be too bad if the price is half of Spuhr’s mount and as a lefty I could mount a red dot at an angle on the left side. Spuhr only allows one mounted on the right.

Right? Because they’re actually pretty impressive, especially when Griffin somehow makes a slightly altered copy of the original product that’s actually an improved design (sometimes), for significantly less cost to the consumer.

But then they do goofy shit like this and it’s a slimy dick move in every way.

Maybe that’ll be their next innovative design...changing a Super Dynamic Combat trigger into a Slimy Dick Copycat trigger.

I've got their 30SD, M4SD-II, and M4SD-K cans and absolutely love them. A tad on the heavy side, maybe, but that's my only complaint.

@DetrhoytMAK I have a Recce5 in jail but I'll tell you, I feel exactly the same. I've had a bit of remorse ever since I ordered it. I actually spoke with the guys at SS about switching it to a M42K or another one (can't remember) but they insisted the R5 was the shit. Man I hope so.

Yep, pretty much, but that extra weight isn’t even a bad thing. On a precision rifle (superior precision or otherwise lol) it actually helps the harmonics, and our COTS 30SDs we had on some Mk46s lasted long after the Surefires we got at the same time were practically unusable.

I’ll accept a little more weight if it means a can that can handle the abuse.

Damn Griffin, just try a little harder on your designs to think of your own shit. It’s not like you HAVE to copy everyone else’s products.
