I would really like to get one of these fine Russina pistols but don't know if they have passed the California "drop test" bill.  Does anyone know if they have or not?  Or does this law even apply to them?[pistol]

Thanks

Treetop..Are you sure?  Do you have a link to the site that states this law?  Not that I don't trust you cause I know you know a lot, but I just want to be 100% sure myself.

Thanks

kalif legal ? yes and no
depends on the model -- east german maks and 9x18 russian maks are C&R Guns and Kalif legal

380 russian maks and bulgarian maks are NOT C&R and not kalif legal unless they are USED

now if someone would like to pay the big bucks to have them tested, they WOULD pass, if a gun is able to be imported into the US it would pass the kalif requirements

most SAA and C&R pistols are exempt from the BS15 law, after reading the above does that BS15 law make ANY bit of sense? of course not

any used private party transfer gun is kalif legal
