I stopped parking under trees and the little bastards still crap on my car. They even get the SIDE windows, must do some kind of feathered strafing run to accomplish that. If they keep it up when I move back into my house I'll have to heat up the barrel of my daughters Red Ryder.

it's the 'camo' instinct that causes birds to poop on clean cars. bright shiney metal is not normal in nature. so therefore anything that is bright and shiney could give away the bird's position to a high flying predator. the only 'thing' a bird has to use to cover or camo up something is their own solid urea. so therefore the pooping is a reflex action on the part of the bird to protect itself. dirty or dull cars are more 'natural' to them and therefore will not get the same 'attention'

especially them damned seagulls!.....they consume one pound of food...(food, not fish, because they eat everything in sight...mostly mcdonalds french fries)...and they dispell THREE pounds of disgusting CRRAAPPP!!!!!!.....much of it on my truck!!!!!.........[pissed]...[puke]

I remeber when my father-in-law parked hi 1976 Volare under a tree where a large flock of birds where roosting. After 2 days, his gold car looked like a 2 tone! I swear that he used an ice scraper to clean the windshield. Drove it like that for a few days, leaving a trail of hysterical pedestrians behind him. By the time he went to the car wash (had to go through 3 times) the finish was gone.
The family still talks about that one. |

I want to know what the government is doing about this extreme problem. There is no way that Americans can function with birds doing this dangerous, Illegal dumping. I have even heard of a child-A CHILD MIND YOU-being struck with this offensive matter. I think a group of uneducated, all knowing, mothers could start a group that will protest on the steps of the capital and on the internet. DO IT FOR THE CHILDREN!!!! SAVE THE CHILDREN!!!!

Between the birds and the pollen I wash my truck and it is dirty in under one hour. We got a little rain so the pollen is down. It has been 24 hours and my truck is still clean. Ill see how long that lasts.

Interesting that this thread was up. I park my black Ranger under a tree. When I came out this morning, it looked like it had been crapped on by a vulture. I've never [b][i]seen[/i][/b] that much birds**t! I'm surprised it didn't dent the roof!
I don't know why they hate my truck, but it's obvious they do. Now I want to mount bird-seeking high-explosive tipped missles in vertical launchers in the bed. TAKE THAT![rocket] |
