Am I the only one that just recently got the itch to go and charge the heck outta' my c/c and put a big .50 in my safe. Thanks for nothing MSNBC!

MSNBC did nothing but add fuel to a fire that only exsists because of poor and inconcise coverage of topics, and issues that the media has taken to portaying in a negative fashion. Shame on them and the fools that fall for the garbage they spew onto our airwaves.

Want to see something different?
How about a .50 cal with an 18" barrel?

I fired one of these 5 times the recoil is about equal to a 12 gauge. Very sweet!

C'mon, go buy that 50, I got truck payments to make!

Seriously, that was a hatchet job pure and simple. Bob Stewart should have known better. He thought he could get some sort of support out of this, all he did was look pathetic.

If I was going to bet money I would say the NFA reclassification is a done deal. And this on the heels of three 12 gauge shotguns being reclassed as "destructive devices."

Steyr,

I'd give it less of a chance than that.

They have been trying for years to do the same thing.  The Military video where they show the penetration of the .50 has been around for years.

Typical Media Hatchet Job on MSNBC, I am sure (at work, so I cannot see it).

A ban would PROBABLY not stand up to a court challenge, as the basis for most NFA classifications is "used by criminals" or "non sporting purposes" (basically, whatever looks evil).  There have been recognized national matches for .50's for years, so it could be challenged in court based on it's commonality as a sporting firearm.

I need one but fast! and I can't decide if I want to save for a little while for the ar upper, but if I can do that surely I have the discipline and willpower to save longer for an M82 or M2, thats never worked for me in the past though...damn

btw, that show hurt my feelings and being the good pc crusader I am I think should we have a class action suit and have it banned. Those lawyers over at the NAACP could probably swing something like that but they're gun-grabbers you say. Wrong! they're just media-whoring extortionists who could go pro-gun or anti-gun for the bigger dollar amount, msnbcs got a lot of cash, I think we have a winner. I get insulted for owning guns and wanting a .50, now I get one for FREE!
