They've done the same thing out here. Somewhere in the Oakland hills.

The Marines were supposed to do this here in downtown Phoenix last year, but the excercise was cancelled because homeless advocates complained that homeless vets would be scared and have flashbacks.

Every year the 10th Mountain Division does training at Keystone and Arapahoe Basin ski areas (along with others)I live a mile from Keystone. It's fun to watch these guys in fatigues on tele skis bombing the mountain.
