I was wondering if you think that the CMP marked Bushmaster rifles will/are collector rifles.

I have to imagine that they will recieve a premium in the future but I'm not really sure how many were/are produced.

Weren't there 1903 Springfield CMP rifles in the past that are now worth a premium?

No, they're just target rifles.  As far as I know, the production of this rifle is not limited except by demand.

The problem with this rifle is the way sales are restricted to affiliates or qualified shooters.

On the other hand, the only detail that is special or unique is the CMP logo on the lower receiver, and perhaps attractive pricing; otherwise, they are just run of the mill service rifles.

Bushmaster supplies the CMP with their AR-15 rifles.

They are not limited editions or anything special.
