Guys, I have a friend who is an active duty Jarhead. He is moving from Kansas to his new duty station in Hawaii. He wants to take some handguns to HI. what are the requirements and implications. I told him I would get back with him. Don't let me down....

Have his CO sign a form saying he is trained in weapons.  It must be notorized.  Then take the form to the main police station down town with the weapons and register them.  If he has any high caps hide them.  Law is 10 rounders on practicly any thing, and all pistols.  If the CO will not sign or doesn't know what paper work is needed my FFL here will do the form for about $100.  I think his email is [email protected]

Tell him it was a bad idea to go to the islands and he has to leave his guns to be checked in by the French.
