You guys should ASSUME that any woman you meet is going to be anti-gun.  Women are much more likely to buy into the entire liberal/socialist message than men (though plenty of men do too), and they're far more likely to adapt a stance against things they see as "possibily causing harm to their children."

It is YOUR job as a man to help educate them about the facts of the issue.  And you must do so on their terms, appealing primarily to their emotions, and following up with facts and data only AFTER they start asking questions on their own.  Most women will come around once you disarm their fear, or more correctly, redirect that fear where it belongs.

Many of the guys here have commented that their now-ardently-pro-gun wives were strongly anti-gun when they first met.  These guys knew enough not to try to argue with them like you'd do with a man, but instead work on the emotional side first.

This kind of thing is actually easy.  If you can't do THIS, then there's no way you're prepared to handle a long-term RELATIONSHIP with a woman.  Those are MUCH more difficult and complex than a single political issue.
