Rented it and saw it tonight.  Fun movie.  I probably would have enjoyed it in the theatre, but for $2 it was a great deal.  Even freely used firearms instead of the normal avoid them at all costs in most movies these days.

I thought that movie was a hoot.

Loved those boxy machine guns. A precurser to the HK caseless OCIW?

Too bad they didn't have Jack the Ripper and Frankenstein.

It was a good movie but I went to the 10pm show and I feel asleep half way through.

I saw it for free on a Target TV display.

You liked this suck-ass movie, but you hated 28 Days?

Let me clarify: I saw "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" free, and I paid for "28 days" [:D]

I bought the DVD when it came out.  It took me until my fifth viewing to make it through without falling asleep.

I wasn't too impressed.

It wasn't good enough to keep me awake.

It was a decent movie.  A helluva lot better then that rank-ass 28 day's.  As far as I'm concerned, there are only three zombie movies:

Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Living Dead
Day of the Living Dead

Did anyone notice the bling-bling STEN guns that Cpt.Nemo's men were using in a movie set in 1899?

We rented it New Year's Eve along with Tomb Raider II. We watched The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen last and it ended at about ten minutes before midnight. Frankly, we didn't enjoy either movie greatly. And if it weren't for Angelina Jolie's bustline in Tomb Raider II movie and the firearms in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen , both would have been total disappointments. But, hey, to each his own. If you enjoyed it, that's all that matters.

Some parts were too far over the top, like the Nautilus being bigger than an Iowa class battleship.  If a couple things had been scaled back a bit it would have been more enjoyable.

Generally, it was a "remove your brain and place it under your seat until the end of the movie" type of film.  Fun in a cartoon kind of way.

Interesting how Connery has played some great major roles, and yet he shows up in some stinkers too.

Regretfully, I bought the movie before watching it. It will NEVER see the inside of my DVD player again. There was not one thing that I enjoyed about this movie, and I'm not even a movie snob.

Just watched S.W.A.T. boy it was a hoot, Just loved the opening incident at the bank, the sniper takes out the driver of the G.A.V. but can't see it in his heart to plug the dufus spraying the neighborhood with full auto fire!

Yeah ok!!

I thought that LXG wasn't too bad.  I don't watch movie to be "moved."  Just for entertainment.

Not a classic, but worth the $2 rental fee.

It's a GOOD movie.
Peta Wilson gives me a boner, no matter what she's playing.
Sean Connery still kicks ass.

I liked the comment about 'who'd invent such a weapon?' regarding the fully-automatic rifles...

"...probably a BELGIAN..."

Gee, I wonder who THAT could be? (John Moses Browning's design sold to Fabrique Nationale, maybe?) [:D]

Some of you guys need to lighten up or go watch Disney.  [;D]

I saw it in the theater with my Dad & we both enjoyed it.  I plan to get it on DVD.

If any of you who bought it & hate it want to sell it at a fair price, please e-mail me...

I didn't find it to be as awful as I had heard, just not a movie to think too hard on.

Boring! The wife loves Sean Connery and she even hated this movie.
