I saw the planes fly past my house this morning the B2, F22, & F117. A sight to behold. They made 2 passes over the Rose Parade.

If they could afford tickets to the Rose Bowl they likely aren't socialists. I missed the Parde Flyever this year. Maybe one of the replays will have it. The B-2 down Colorado Blvd last year had people coming unglued. It was below several of the TV station helos.

When shit like that flies overhead, it's really nice to know it's yours. After Gulf War I, the aircraft from 2 carriers overflew my hometown as they returned. It was truly, truly awe-inspiring to see them come over in goups of about 5 for what seemed like an hour. I thought to myself how chilling it must be to see something like that and realize "Hey! Those aren't [i]our[/i] planes!!"

When the planes flew over my house, I was so busy trying to take a pix, that I forgot to include my house in the pix. Darn! |
