It's the wrong time of the year for me to have spare cash to toss around. Could be the same for a lot of folks...

At least as far as AR goes, people are more interested in either parts to build their own or separate uppers and lowers. Parts and uppers still move okay. Sales of fully assembled rifles have been slow for several months from what I have seen.
Once tax returns come back there will be a spike in sales. |

The gun shows are poor too. Usually winter shows are better. Not this year.

There has been rampant speculation that the AW ban will go away, so pre-ban prices are the lowest I've seen them since I discovered evil black rifles. I think that it adversely affects the entire market--for example, why buy a like-new-in-box Sig pistol for $700 when there's a pre-ban PWA carbine on sale right now for what, $250 more?
If I can get some money scraped together I think I'm going to get a pre-ban because even if the ban sunsets I don't think prices will ever be this low for these guns again. Just my humble opinion. |

Everyone's waiting on the AWB for AR stuff. That being said, I just sold a Win 1300 and M1A scout with little trouble on the EE.
