4/24/19 Contacted customer service and they sent me a Fedex label to send it back
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Talk about bad luck with orders recently first the brace is missing a roll pin and now my new barrel has a very rough chamber this build is not starting off well... How is Faxon customer service?

Looks like it never got finished. A chamber hone might fix that if it doesn't change the dimensions.

I thought this was going to be a silly complaint, but I don’t think that barrel saw every step of the finishing process. I’m sure they’ll take care of you, they are active here and hold themselves to a high standard.

Any updates on this? I need some cheap barrels and Faxon and Ballistic Advantage are contenders. This thread worries me a bit, though.

Does Faxon send unfinished AR barrels with the instructions to get them headspaced by a gunsmith?

Faxon is a solid company.
I'm local to them and they've done some non-gun related work for me. Always been happy with price, quality and turnaround. |

I have an 18" Gunner that is absolutely a great shooter. Incredibly consistent accuracy with a broad range range f bullet weights from 50 to 77 grain. The chamber is smooth, looks nothing like that picture. Glad to see Faxon making it right.

When I have a product that needs attention from the companies warranty dept, I just contact them directly. Easier for me and them.

Faxon's Customer Service is top-notch. Martin in their CS Dept took care of my issue with more than satisfactory results. It's a company that stands behind their products and customers.
