i am getting incorporated and need ideas for my first "project".
i am thinking AR15 SBR.
but then there are those Russian over and under shotguns that need to be cut down to look like big derringers.
and everyone needs a suppressed Ruger mark II or 22/45.

ideas for my first?

An AR15 SBR is definitely on my list.  But time it so that you get your Form 1 back just shortly before Sept 04.  You will definitely want a threaded barrel.

Suppressors on everything for now.

http://www.tacticalinc.com/mc/mcindex-2.html has them NIB starting at $2500. You can look around and find used ones starting around $1800. Eight months ago you could have picked one up under $1000 but the RPD conversions did the same thing to them that the Shrike did to the M-16s. The price seems to have stabilized for now. One thing for sure though, they will never get any cheaper.

At the rate machine guns are appreciating.....get your guns before playing around with suppressors. 5 years from now, these will be considered the good old days in regards to prices on machine guns.

Right now you can buy a M-11/9 for about 2000-2200 +,- if you look around. That's your ONLY option for an MG in your $$$ range.

But you best do it quickly, prices on these have gone up $800-1000 dollars since the first of the year.

308wood.  Go with M11.  The longer you wait, the higher the cost.

I don't own class III nor can I in this state BUT I am aware of the pricings. and it seems to me that this might just be a 'bubble' where prices skyrocket until they are so expensive no one can afford them so eventually they have to go down even if it's only a little bit. Just my 2 cents, but I say go for it! remember even though the prices are very high you'll get most of that money back when you resell it. So, if you pay say 4000$ for a coltm-16 then resell it for 3500$ after you've chugged 1000 rounds through it in the end the rifle only cost you 500$!!! Thats the great thing about guns they hardly ever lose their value, Unless it's a Lorcin or something.
