I'm 6'5" 225, the 100lb bag by Everlast and duct tape is perfect for me.

Get the heaviest one you can afford. I have a 200 lb. Everlast and am very happy with it. It takes all my punches and kicks without someone there to hold it. 100 lbs. is probably enough but I found this one for a good price and it was too good to pass up.

I just sold a 100# everlast bag in a yard sale. Someone had left it in one of my in-laws renthouses. I got $25 for it.

I forgot to mention that the 200 lb bag turned out to be a two man operation while hanging. I did it once with a floor jack by my self but it wasn't easy. If you thin you migh be hanging it up when you use it and storing it in a closet or somthing like that, get the 80 lb. Even the 100lb bags are hard to hang by yourself.
