LAPD. They've always been more of a paramilitary organization since Parker was chief in the '50s and '60s.


The Chinese. During the Korean conflict, they were able to overwhelm a LOT of our forces just due to sheer numbers. Many were only armed with a spike on the end of pole. This was also after they'd fought a long-running civil war.

i think the good ole boys advantage is in the huge popularity of 30.06 rifles and marlin 30-30s with-in thier ranks. not to say most would be a great shot, but they would be able to engage the homeboys effectivly at about 100 yards, a range sawed off single shot 20 guages and lorcins cant touch.

Depends on where the battle takes place...

If it's over Taiwan, the Chinese LOOSE, since all the manpower in the world is useless if it's resting at the bottom of the Formosa Straits... They have a huge army, but a PATHETIC navy....

If it's 'Inchon again' -- i.e. a land battle in a bordering country -- then it's a toss-up favoring China. They can actually use their numbers here, which is their major advantage...

In a 'proxy war' scenario, ala Vietnam or Iraq, the Chinese loose again, due to logistics issues. Once again, the Chinese have a human wave army (they have people to spare). This is a very formidible defensive arrengement, but it's USELESS for force projection, since keeping such a force supplied with men and equipment is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT when outside of truck/railroad range, and ESSENTIALLY IMPOSSIBLE accross oceans (especially when your enemy has a top-notch submarine fleet, as both the US and UK do). When you're dealing with a large/long overseas war, THE SUPPLY LINES WIN & LOOSE BATTLES BEFORE THE GRUNTS GET A CHANCE TO FIRE A SHOT...

Ali is by far the better boxer.  However, if Tyson gets inside, it's all over for Ali.

I would have to go with the thugs. The may have lorcins..but may have all the full auto AK's too. In Urban combat long range rifles may not be as effective. Don't get me wrong rednecks are tough but Thugs live and die by the gun. They have the experience.

I think LAPD is more crazy because they deal with the crazy gangsters.
