Just wondering how many gun toting brethern are on this board.
Jeff |
|
There's a bunch.
They may not be here right now, but they'll be here later. Good men, all. |
|
exactly how do you become a mason?
is it through referal? through a family member? i dont get it.. oh yea, whats the handshake?..... |
|
To become a mason just ask a mason.
If you do not know one you can contact any lodge and leave your name and number and someone will contact you. As far as the ilumminati new world order stuff its a bunch of crap. Jeff AF&AM |
|
Of course you would say that. They don't disclose /that/ kind of information to just everybody, do they?
|
|
Good luck in your new career. I hear doing masonry work is a tough business to be in. Anyway, best of luck.

My Brother, ClydeTheHun, has been a 32nd Degree/Shriner for many, many years now.
I would love to join him, but there are not enough hours in the day for me to do so, I'm afraid. All I can say about Masons is that they spend a lot of time raising money for running hospitals for burned and crippled children. It is basically all they do all year long. If you ever visit one of their hospitals, you will note two things: First, they spare no expense in having the best physicians and equipment to provide the very latest treatment for such children. Second, they have no 'business office' that the parents must visit to discuss the details of how they will take care of the costs for treatment of their children. It is free to one and all. From all over the world, children are brought to them for treatment. As there is a God in Heaven, He will surely not forget the good works done by these men for His children. View Quote Of course they don’t, you have to read about it from other sources based on ex-members. Illuminati Defector Details Pervasive Conspiracy "Secrete societies" and groups of influential people (with money mostly) throughout history have tried to subtly run things. They have used different methods but pop culture, feminism and social immoralities are the latest method of dumbing society into submission. Calling attention to these things cause a majority of society to thumb their nose at the whistle blower, but that simply means they have took it hook line and sinker. It's no secrete that the illuminati recruit their members from the highest ranks of groups such as the masons. Ericthehun its nice to hear positive comments from a non member. I have read that masonry give $1.2M dollars a day to charity.

There's too much evidence, paper trails and history to deny the masons involvement in secrete society(s). But remember, it’s only the top percentile of masons who are even aware of its involvement in the illuminati. A quote from an ex-member: Are all Masons Illuminati? No, especially at the lower levels, I believe they know nothing of the practices that occur in the middle of the night in the larger temples. Many are probably fine businessmen and Christians. But I have never known a 32 degree or above who wasn't Illuminati, and the group helped create Freemasonry as a "front" for their activities." Bro Jeff,
Welcome to the fraternity! I belong to a Lodge in SE MA. A friend who is an NRA instructor and really into Class 3 toys is joining a Boston Lodge starting in February. I'm also a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite and Shriner. Reason I joined these two organizations is precisely because of the support of the Shriners' Burns Institute and Shriners' Hospitals for Crippled Children. TO further elucidate, the Shriners take not one penny of government, insurance or patient money! It is 100% funded by Masons and those that attend the fund-raising events run by them. |

LenS its great to hear from you.
If you don't mind me asking are you a member of Aleppo in Willmington? |

Congratulations on becoming a Master Mason(Third Degree, Correct?) Beyond that is where it starts to get interesting. Can you tell us what you stated in the Oath you took?
For those in or beyond the 7th degree: "Enlightenment"? Luciferian beliefs in occultism? Beliefs in Egytptian, babylon dieties like Isis,Osiris,Ashtarte beyond the 7th degree mason? Jah-Bul-On being: "Yaweh" God of the bible, "Baal" being god of the Assyrians, and "On" The sun god of the egyptians, Osiris. Sorry Not to rain on anybody's parade but I'm REALLY curious. |

IronBalaclava thankyou for the info but I may never know due to the fact that i am going to climb the York Rite ladder not the scottish Rite ladder.

Hypothetical question:
If someone was dead set on starting from scratch and getting to 32nd degree in the absolute minimum time, how long would it take, how much would it cost, and roughly, what sort of works would be involved? I'm really curious, not baiting you. The various brotherhoods like the Masons have always intrigued me, a little, anyway, and I have enough extremely fine and upstanding older relatives in the Masons that I don't believe that there's anything sinister about it. But they're not close enough in terms of distance to be of much direct help to me, either, and a couple are very elderly and deaf as a rock. CJ |

It took 3 months to do my first 3 Degrees. Hence 1 meating per month. I was recently talking to a member and he is a 32nd degree in the scotish rite he told me they no longer do all the degrees just the most important. He told me the had 4 guy go throught them all in like 8 weaks. The work involved is not to tough but you get out what you put in.

Like illigb says:
I've never seen or heard any religious discussions in any Masonic meeting in my 22+ years as a Mason. The only religious requirement is that one must believe in a Supreme Being, but what that belief is is NEVER questioned! At Shrine meetings held at Aleppo Temple, we have three bibles open on the alter at all meetings: New and Old Testaments and Koran. As for 32nd Degree Masons all being involved in "underground activities", I can tell you that I have been a Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason since 1985 and have never heard or seen any such thing in my experience. It took money and one day of my time to become a 32nd Degree Mason (from a 3rd Degree Mason) and the entire day was taken up with watching symbolic plays (with ~300 others) that depict events related to the building of The Temple. NO religious discussion at all, no swearing allegiance to any religious being/rite/belief. As for the rumors that abound, check out some of the following information: The "all seeing eye" in the pyramid on US currency - http://web.mit.edu/dryfoo/www/Masonry/Essays/eyepyr.html http://web.mit.edu/dryfoo/Masonry/ might answer some other questions for those that truly want to learn what it is and what it isn't about. I have heard creditable rumors of some "illegal cells" in Europe (France comes to mind) that were using their Masonic organization for unsanctioned illegal activity. It is also my understanding that said cells were expelled from Masonry when the illegal activity was found out. |

CJ View Quote CJ, In order to get to be a 32nd degree mason, you have to already been though the first 3 degrees. The Scottish Rite will confer a 'reunion' where you will be a 32nd degree mason in a weekend. They do not do all 29 degrees, only about 5 or 6 of them. How fast can you make it through the first three degrees is up to you. It took me about 6 months. After I was done with that, I joined Scottish Rite and York Rite. I cannot speak of the costs in Florida. There are initiation fees, and then yearly dues after. The fees are really minimal. SNorman, it is all about history and the OT. Nothing shady at all. There is allegory that talks about the Babylonians and Nebuchadnezzar and such, but it is just mentioned as instruction. It is not in the 7th degree, at least not in Ohio. |

CJ,
Each state has a "Grand Lodge of The first 3 degrees to become a Master Mason takes 3 months and some memorization. A shear guess of cost (since each Grand Lodge and local lodge sets their own dues) should be in the vicinity of $150. and ~$50/year after that. Scottish Rite in Boston has been running 1-day classes (all day Saturday) for ~20 years or more. They also run 4 evening classes for those that prefer Friday nights. Total guess (for same sort of reason as above) is about the same ($150 and probably $50-60/year dues thereafter). In MA they recently have been running a few 1-day classes/year as an experiment. This 1-day class will make you a Master Mason (and 32nd Degree Mason, if you wish) in a day. Guaranteed that you won't understand much of what you went thru with that sort of intensity (grossly abbreviated process), but for those who's work schedules wouldn't allow them to complete the work over a number of months, this may be the only reasonable alternative. |

I just love all the smug, sanctimonious, holier-than-thou's who speak as if their faith is the only acceptable path in life. I am a Christian, I accept Christ as my savior... but I don't look down on or judge others who do not. I do however look upon those who feel it is their place to judge others with a degree of contempt.
How easy it is to read some nonsense on the Internet and come here to spout off with some sense of authority the evils of an organization they have not one clue about. When presented with cogent and honest answers not to their liking, they dismiss it as... oh, you aren't one of the chosen, you wouldn't know! Only the 32nd degrees know! Bullshit, in NYS you become a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason in an afternoon. Pay your $100, sit through a half dozen "plays" which give some insight on the relations of men and you are suddenly in the Illuminati? Or is there some secret 32.6 degree Mason where you learn this? |

It seems that what spooks people most and fuels the conspiracy theories is the fact that it's a secret society.
If it weren't so secret it wouldn't scare people and would be represented as the charity that it claims to be. Why doesn't some lodge or shrine open their doors to the media like 60 Minutes, 20/20, etc and let them do a story on them? Shit, even the Ku Klux Klan has let reporters come to the rallies. We've seen some evil shit on TV news shows over the years so nothing the masons are doing should frighten us. Or... Is it so bad as to be more shocking to the world than what radicals like the Black panthers, the KKK, the communists or Al Qaeda is OPENLY expressing. It's a bit ironic that the american people know more about what some clown is saying from a cave in the Middle East than what his neighbors are doing at the local masonic lodge. |
|
Kind of like the NY Sun and other papers being invited to tour the Grand Lodge and interview the Grand Master of Masons in the State of New York.
Our buildings are marked, we meet at specific times and our schedule is known. Our members wear rings with our symbols and have insignia on their cars. Its not like we hide our affiliations. |
|
I have heard The Masons refered to as a"Secret Society"many times. That is not quite accurate....rather,a Society with secrets."The Masons...we're looking for a few "good men."On the day of the Boston Tea Party, the Masonic Blue Lodge of Boston could not"open"the stated meeting for a lack of membership......it seems the Brethern were elsewhere, and "all dressed as wild Indians."And so it goes........
