I've been off since last Tuesday...my company decided to change they way they do vacation and sick days (can't carry them over anymore), and work half-heartedly attempted to screw me with my time, so...*shrug* screw it, I'll take it all at once.
I'm off until the 5th, too. I firmly plan on spending the rest of the time I'm off starting tomorrow at the range [:D] Just hope I have enough ammo...I'd hate to find myself discovering that all I have left when all is said and done is some WWII 8mm surplus..and firing all that. Then again, it IS about time to roll my ammo stock [:D] |

Me too, done as of 8 am. They *tried* to get me to work over the holidays. I've worked too many of them in the past. Think I'll get out for muzzle loader this weekend then do some winter hiking/camping after that. |

After noon PST on the 24th and with the exception of the 29th (that'll be a 10 hour day) I'm also off until the 5th.
Why the frick we just couldn't close for ALL or none of the days I don't know. All they managed to do now was piss off everyone who isn't already getting laid off (about 40% of the staff are done for). I'll be more pissed off when I don't have a job anymore but for now this will do for pissing me off. |

Lucky bastards....although my wife is off thru Jan. 5th. Hell, I get Christmas day off and that's it til Saturday. Last year I didn't work the 24th thru the next weekend...

I have to work Christmas and New Years day as well, hell I worked Thanksgiving too. A holiday has to fall on a Tuesday or Wednsday before I get it off.

I'm off until the fifth, also. I haven't been away from work this long since I got back from Germany, and that was in January of '87. What the hell am I supposed to do with 12 days off?

Also off until the 5th. Going to the cabin from Xmas until then. Gonna build a bonfire that will be visible in several states, shoot the guns and enjoy the company of my woman.
