SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. -- A California college professor is putting up plenty of scratch to get back her missing cats.

Cloud and Winky disappeared over the summer, and Cal State San Bernardino English professor Margaret Doane is offering a $10,000 reward for the return of her feline friends.

That's on top of the $8,000 she's already spent on newspaper ads.

Doane has two other cats, but she says they've been depressed since the disappearance. Doane has a simple reason for offering so much money for the return of her pets -- she says they're family.
