I did, three years ago.
The friction between us began about five months into the relationship. It ended about two months later. The problems with being political opposites wasn't obvious at first, but it took its toll when the relationship moved from being purely physical to more intellectual. I won't do it again. |

Yep,
The GF I am with now was a far left anti gun liberal when I met her. Her parents were DU types with no grip on reality. Now, done get me wrong she is a very very smart girl. After a while she started understanding that America is not supposed to be like what her parents want it to be. Now, she is a gun carrying woman with an outlook for America that would make ARFCOM proud. |

yup. upside is she really doesn't know much except what her parents and media have lied to her about. so i consider myself to be the winner of the arguements.
although i have to shut up to keep the peace when her parents start blabbering nonsense about nationwide health care, hitlery,etc. i'd love to hear her talk to someone else about my gun habit or beliefs..that would let me know if she actually considers my side and perhaps believes some of it is correct..or if she just clams up around me and is still a moron. i honestly think she doesn't really know what to believe right now as far as politics. that might be a good thing. There's the political spectrum of "Left" vs. "Right". And then there's "Liberal" and "Conservative" Liberals believe in change, while conseratives believe in keeping things the way they are. No political position nesscary has to be read into this. For example, if your country was Leftist and you wanted to move it towards the right, then you could be a "liberal" while those who wanted to perserve it as a leftist nation would be "conseratives". And visa versa. |

I don't know if she's "the one",but she's got my attention.I would definetly say that she is God's Christmas present to me.She's 28,tall,NO kids,educated,doesn't feel the NEED to get married to anyone,AND Fine as all get out.For now,any flaws she has are of no concern to me.NOONE'S perfect.I can live with that.

I dated a Berkley educated left-wing hippy chick.
After 3 months (after sex in every position) we found out we really didn't like each others politics, social issues stands, money values, moral values (yea, I know), religious values. Her older sister is a Berkley educated lesbian and she is very consertive (for a lesbian). Me and her had almost the same interests and values (including women and guns). |

I had the good fortune to rescue one from a leftist home. I can't really vouch for her leanings before she met he, but her family... wow. Her parents have probably never voted Republican in their lives, and can't stop bitching about how wrong the war is, etc... Pretty much the type of voter that has made the Chicago Machine what it is today.
She now goes shooting with me every now and then, bought me a reloading press last xmas, and did a paper on the second amendment for a grad school history class. The only issues left to address is that she has yet to shoot anything more powerful than a Kel-Tec P32, and she's still kind of scared at the thoght of riding the motorcycle I just bought. I'll keep ya posted... |

Well I really dont care what their political views are as long as she is good in bed.
In all serious Dont sweat it, My wife used to be pretty Liberal, Then I showed her the brighter Side, The only problem is since then I lost my Smith and wesson 686 plus and my Kimber Stainless .45 to her. The thing is dont force it on her, Make it look like your keeping your politcal distance but dont really keep your distance. |

i'm currently half-assed dating an attorney who runs a rape and domestic violence center. she's kinda liberal *cough.*
i told her i have a couple pistols for target shooting. because it's fun. no mention of evil black rifles. but i always get it (sorta) out of the way pretty quickly. i shoot, deal with it or there is the door. "well, never show me your guns... and if we ever end up moving in together they have to stay at your parent's house." well, that ain't gonna happen. though a preban upper may be staying at moms house when i have all the parts soon, to prevent "constructive intent" or whatever it is called. |

I'm currently dating a Cuban girl. I just moved back to Texas from Hawaii *LAND OF THE LIBERAL LESBIANS/GAYS. She's sooooooo freaking hot, exotic and everything! Her family was run out of Cuba, left everything behind, including alot of family. She HATES Communists, ranted all night once about how much she hates Liberals and how they don't realize what a great country they live in, that the freedoms we already have she didn't get to have in Cuba. I was so happy when we had that talk that I kissed her! She's eager to try ANYTHING! I took her to a range and she about fell in love with guns.

I met a librarian-looking liberal who belonged to NOW and the ACLU, and I told her I was an NRA member. We ended up going out and me, thinking "librarian chick", neglected to bring a rubber!
OMIGOD what a sensuous babe. She had the candles, the massage oil, and me without protection. So we relocated back to my house, played hookey from work, and did it till the sun came up. I'd give up my left nut for that kinda sex on a regular basis. Alas, our divergent views led to an unfortunate breakup. I guess the pics I showed her of me and all my "assault weapon" toting friends didn't help. I only date conservatives or "undecideds" now. |
