Neighbor decided it was okay to shovel snow off his driveway onto my property. Mainly my front lawn but there is a small area next to my house that was shoveled on to. Would have been worse but I happened to come home and hear snow being tossed against the side of my house and I went and bladed at a 45.

Get a loud, cheap snow blower, and put the man's snow BACK.
At 0400 hours. |

OMG how will you survive?
You would have a stroke down here, my neighbors tree’s leaves land on my lawn |

apparently you do not get very much snow.....pretty common, its gotta go somewhere, and its better then the road where it ends up blocking the front of your driveway with a 4 foot drift.

Maybe I'm strange but I shoveled my roof a week ago and made sure none of my snow landed on the neighbor's driveway which is directly next to my house.
I do own a snowblower and believe me the thought has crossed my mind to return said snow to neighbor. |

Only state in the USA that residents kill each other when their water is taken and when water is given.

The answer is that you live too close to your neighbor. Maybe you can both get together on this and MELT the offending snow, perhaps make large ice blocks stacking them up to make a wall separating your properties. Then your neighbor can blow the snow against HIS side of the wall and leave YOUR house without the snowabuse.

How about some MS paint?
What are his alternatives? Shoveling it against the house is BS |
|
Fucking snow is up to my windowsills here, I doubt the neighbors (if they were close enough) could really add much.
But I need to find the hidden camera the plow truck guy uses to know when to deposit a giant pile of white bullshit at the end of my driveway 20 minutes after I plow and snowblow. |

Don't Blow Snow on Gary's Property |

if your tripping over snow in your yard coming from their drive you are the problem, if someone is throwing snow from their walk/drive and hitting your house they are also the problem (assuming ms paint proves your houses are not a duplex) a somewhat unrelated one if we ignore the weather.
My neighbor and I have spoken twice in 8 months, but still take turns uncovering the public sidewalk between our driveways and mowing the stretch of grass in the summer (technically city grass) If you can help from pissing in the corners of your yard, the world can be a decent place. |

Are you guys trolling? Shit falls out of the sky and you're okay with your neighbor piling his share on your property? Against the house is beyond a dick move. You guys have got to be trolling.

Yeah, I call bs. No one I know in town is going to throw 100's of shovels full of snow, the drive way or walk way length the setback distance from a drive to the home next door. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Quoted: Where did you move to ID from? I’m guessing the answer will be telling....... View Quote Seriously though my neighbor is a douche. His driveway is 10 feet wide. There is approximately 4 feet between my house and his driveway. Just thought I would check in. My plan is to return his snow to his rented property. |

Ok, you got me. It’s snow. Who gives a shit? Now if his throwing it against the house caused damage then a talk about fixing it would certainly be warranted. Even if it’s not damaging anything I can understand wanting that to stop. But throwing it in the yard, come on man.

If you need a safe space to go until winter is over, one of us here in Montana might be able to help you out..

OP, it is just snow; and it must go somewhere.
While throwing snow against your home is a bit rude and should stop, throwing the snow into a pile between your two properties should be tolerable and mutually beneficial. |

Guy down the street plasters his neighbors house with his snow blower. Looked like it was about a foot thick from the ground up to 3' or 4' until the warm-up.

Damn OP that dude is pissing on your leg. You better put a stop to that shit or next fall he is going to blowing leaves into yard!
