I'm on dial up too, but for some reason every other site on the web loads right up. Wish I knew how to speed things up at my end.

Once I am in a certain forum it is quicker to load the posts, but when I go to say page 2 of the general discussion I am sitting here for 5 minutes waiting for it to load.
It is the same when I first come to the site, I click on Discussion boards, and after a while it loads, but when I click on which forum I want to view it takes 5 minutes for that forum to open. |

I have digital internet and this site is ALWAYS slow as a turtle with a broken leg!

Its running 2-3 times as fast as this afternoon now.
I got a feeling that either the servers or the comm pipeline comes close to bandwidth saturation often in the afternoons. |

I have to admit that since I found this place, I rarely visit because of slow page loading. I'm on dial up, but the other gun site I visit are 3x faster than this one.

I don't know enough about computers, but maybe they need to axe some of the forums here and keep the popular ones. Not sure if that would help anything, but this site is my favorite for content, least favorite for performance.
