Unfortunately, I still won't be 35, so I'll have to wait until 2012.

Sorry to disappoint you guys.

I was thinking about this the other day.  Cheney's not an option, due to health.

Jeb crossed my mind, but a lot of people will probably react negatively to one family being in power that much.  They'll want a change.

If Hillary runs, there will be a lot of people who will vote for her just because she's a woman.  In that case, the Repubs might counter by nominating Condi Rice.

I'd love Cheney, but even putting his health aside, he just doesn't have the likeability needed to attract the idiots in the middle.

As such, I like Jeb Bush and Condaleeza Rice. Who is P vs, VP is irrelevant.

We need to keep Keyes running.  I think he would make a far better prez than Rice.

Never happen. He's too openly religious to attract the center.

Sad, though. He's one HELL of an orator. Leaves me spellbound.

Still, he'd make one kick-ass member of the Cabinet!

Wouldn't it just blister the lefties if the first black and the first woman president was a conservative Christian?

I've been trying to come up with a name for some time but haven't settled on any.  I can say that the Laura Bush ticket sure sounds promising!

Seriously, I have considered Condi but, frankly, I think she would have trouble with the crowd who just can't stand having a black woman running (I can honestly say I could vote for her).  I don't think that the party needs to dip into the Senate well for a candidate, Senators tend to not be electable to a national office.  Better try from the House.

If you think of it, there really isn't any "new" faces with any name recognition.  Collin Powell may give it a try but I really don't think he will.

My best guess is that a new Democratic force that I'll call the Zell Miller Dems will rise up and be a formidable force to recon with.  Such a party could, I think, lock in the South and the liberal factions of the Democrat party will have to march in line just to have their party back in.  Hillary may be real popular with the die-hard liberal dems but I don't think she'll be able to do much outside that.

According to The Smartest Woman In The World Hitlery, there won't be an election in 2008:

http://www.opinionjournal.com/best/?id=110004443

Hillary Clinton denounced the Bush administration in a Miami speech last night, the Associated Press reports. "I cannot even imagine four years of a second term of this administration, with no accountability and no election at the end," New York's junior said.

I would have thought it was obvious. Ahnold. Not that it would be necessarily good for the gun toters amongst us, but he is the Republican that could easily beat Hillary. Just that pesky Constitution in the way...
