I let her drive once in awhile, but ONLY if I'm in the car. She likes to drive with the top down.

Yeah, sometimes.

Usually only if I am really tired or sick I'll let her drive.

Only if I'm too tired to drive.  Only happened once, and that was with a gf I'd been dating for 2 years.

If she insists on driving, fine, we take HER car.  [:D]

Yeah, but only if I'm in the car. She's not quite comfortable with a clutch just yet.

No she can't drive standard. I'll ride in her car while she drives, but she makes me car sick after awhile, accelerating/decelarating over and over-BLECH!

Thats the fkin worst my stepmom used to do that, we wouldnt let her drive anywhere far cause we would all wanna puke.

Anyways my GF doesn't have a license and I don't know if i'd let her drive my car cause well.. she scares the shit out of me when she practices driving..

I let her roomate drive my car sometimes though..
I'll let her do it when I'm tired and shes up to it..
I don't really worry when shes driving..

No f**king way!  We may not stay together because of the fact either.  One day I totally f**ked with her about it.  Said OK I was going to give in.  They I handed her a game controller and booted up Need For Speed Underground.  I drive one of the cars featured in the game.
That was not very smart on my part.

whenever we go anywhere, whether it's in my car (Land Rover Discovery) or his (Subaru STI), he drives...and that's just fine...he's got to be one of the worst backseat drivers ever...so bad that when i was following him somewhere, he CALLS me on the phone and is like "What are you doing behind that car in that lane?? Move over...he's slowing you down."  we aren't even in the same damn vehicle!!! it's hilarious...

so, i just give him the keys and that's fine with me...alot easier...

although, i do get to drive the STI every now and then...he knows i can drive a stick and won't wreck his car...course once again, if  he's following me while i drive the Suby, he calls and says "Get on it! Put it in third and floor it!!"

most women scare the shit outta me when they drive - i swear it's the estrogen...i am convinced that female hormones are responsible for the extrememly poor depth perception and lack of peripheral vision while driving.

Yeah. Her name is on all 3 of them along with mine. She was raised on a farm. No problems at all driving a stick shift.

Yep, two years ago.

I had a 1996 JMC Jimmy, her VW was in the shop
(as VW's always are) and she asked me if I would let her drive my Jimmy.

Being PW I said yes.... Big mistake!

She backed the thing into a utility pole:

I ended up paying for the repairs and she is now sleeping with someone else......

A $1600 learning program!

as god as my witness...

the green monster...a 94 chevy stepside 1500 my truck..my sweet truck was driven by my wife for the first time about 8 months ago ..

after work, she went to release the parking break ...but hit the hood release by accident.

she said she got out and tested the hood afterwards and it was locked..

the broken arrow expressway had excitement when she gunned it up to 65mph on the on ramp..

well you can see where this story ends..

the truck and she survived but the hood is crinkled..

keep them away...

2 steps back..

Sure, she drove my 03 Discovery when I had two herniated discs and had to be driven home. Otherwise, she would rather drive her car. 4.4i X5, go figure.

Hubby lets me drive all his vehicles. Doesn't me I like too. I drove his built up samarai one day to work and absolutely hated it.Especially the rear lockers. I have not nor will not drive his latest built up tracker. Granted it's like an easy chair, but still no way. I also had to drive his mini van one day to work, since he needed my car hated it and told him I'd stick to my 4 door tracker any day.

I will loan my Lady friend my car or truck,BUT I don't like to ride with her. She's a good driver, never had an accident since I have known her(ten years).
I simply am not a good rider.I don't like to ride with anyone. But if I have to ride I keep my mouth shut. After all it's only a car!!!
