I will only buy recievers that are forged! Forged recievers are much stronger than the cast ones. I have seen a few pictures of cracked and broken cast recievers here.

Every Sendra receiver I've ever seen was forged and, they are one of the more desirable receiver platforms for a RR M16.

I have a Sendra preban. Great gun I love it. The lower parts have a somewhat iffy rep for quality but you can replace them about 50 bucks.
Mine is that famous purple color but I love the gun. |

Would having a very low serial # xxx2xx be a good or a bad thing ???

The information that I have states that the post-ban recievers have a circle milled into the side of the magwell, this is unconfirmed.

Nesard See "Sendra" below. Sendra Post-ban receivers have a circle milled into the side of the magwell. They were originally bead-blasted to a non-glare finish. All others are pre-ban. (This is unverified info…) Also, they used to be NESARD. Rumored to have been owned by Dick Drasen (currently M&A Parts) and produced lowers only out of Barrington, Illinois. No complete guns were sold (again, unverified info). |
