Their is a belt-fed hk-51b for sale on Autoweapons.com. Asking price is 17,000. Anyone know anythign about these? Appently only 30 were made. Anyone hear how these preform? I can imagine a belt-fed 308 with a short barrel is going to be quite hard to control and if you miss your target you will set it on fire. Any comments?

My buddy has one.

Make damn sure it is a preban Vollmer build. Is 17k for the semi or does that include a registered sear?

They are ungainly, but do not have excessive recoil. I shoot a HK51 all the time. The only reason I don't like the 51b is because it is so goddamn heavy.
