Gunshow this w/e had one for, iirc, $683. Dealer is a bit of a sport, probably could have bought it for $575 - 625.

Gun show price last weekend in NoVa was $599 nearly across the board, and that included Quantico Arms. I have seen $680 in the stores.
ANd I have to agree, the price can't go UP on these things. Hopefully the price will work out like the 9000s. At $450 I take one home, at $550 I think about it, at $600, nah, it needs to earn a rep first...... edited because I forgot to add some running commentary |

I just held one for the first time at a gun show yesterday in Atlanta, and I fell in love with it. Tag said $599, but I didn't talk to the dealer. Too expensive for me right now. I wound up with an SAR-1 instead. [:D]

How hot will they be next October, when the goofy Feinstein strap no longer stretches from the pistol grip to the buttstock? Pretty hot, I think.

What law forced Beretta to put the piece from the grip to the stock? How would the gun be illegal without it?

I'm not altogether clear on the law, but it has a grip extending below the stock. The strip serves no functional purpose, so I assume it is a matter of compliance or of bad design resulting from an abundance of caution.

Paid $575 for mine from a local guy I do business with on a regular basis. I felt that was a fair price. He has to make a living as well so I don't try to beat him up too bad. Plus his daughters are both QT's

I paid 550 when they first popd up, I think sales of around 500 are possible in a year.
Other than mag related failure to feed it has ran flawlessly for about 750 rounds. I have not noticed an effect from the stock design and think it looks and works fine as issued. Do you guys really need a bayonet lug on everything? |
