About the same.  Hell, my wife spent $90 on a wreath for the front of our house... granted it's about 4 feet across, but sheesh...

This year is better than the last couple.  I think we'll get by with about $1500.  All paid for, none on the credit card.

Hardly anything, just a few cheap gifts for the extended family. I finally convinced everyone else to celebrate Christmas without gifts. Woo hoo!

Buy parts kits and build 2 AR's with and for the sons, give away 2 SKS's and a .22 Rem. single shot bolt gun from my collection for the grandsons and an item or cash for the outgoing G/F. Including accessories and ammo for the above, I should be under 2 grand.(you can't take it with you!!)

Same here, the wife and I exchage gifts and we get something for our parents but as far as the rest of the family, we decided to use the money to make a donation to our local SPCA. I'll spend about $1800.

Christmas usually runs us about 150k per year (for the past 5 or so years anyway).

Employees gifts, employee christmas bonuses and small gifts for the family.

Worth every penny, it takes them about 6 months to start slowing down from the gratitude guilt....

This year we cut way back.  $150-200 per kid (2 of them) and $150 each for me and wifey.

Last year it was triple that.

Less than 3K, but we started in October to avoid using CCs.

About $220 dollars.  I hate Christmas and don't have even close enough time for a girlfriend so I always buy something just for my favorite person:  MEEEEEE!!!

This year it is a Steinhausen reproduction of their 1923 Classic model watch.

So far here's the tally. Spent $200 on folks, mainly clothes for my mom and other do dads and a galileo thermometer in 24 k gold for my dad! Then, I spent $160 on bf's folks for a 6 month supply of fruit at some fruit club (I figured it'd be a good gift since I am spending christmas with them.) I spent $25 on bf so far for some bar master thingy and I probably will end up spending a total of $100 on em. Then, I still have to give my neighbors some gifts because they got me and my bf some stuff and also get my bf's brother and wife somethng ahhh!! make it end!!!

Well, not as much as last Christmas as I flew the Family out to California so we could spend it with my son. Still this year will probably be $3000. BobK

About $60.

Wife wants a divorce.

Daughter is 21, white and living free and in sin with a guy with no future.

Oldest son died 6.5 years ago.

Parents are dead.

Brothers and sister know my predicament and don't expect anything.

Some stuff for my son.  He wants cash.  Dear Wifey has all the money so the $60 goody I got him last spring will have to do.

Life sucks; it really sucks this time of year.

Honest to God, I hope ya'll have a good, happy and joyous celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior.

Regretfully,
Mahatma
