Eudora - A man and his son drowned Monday night after the son tried to drown their dog. It happened near the city of Eudora, just outside of city limits. Police say the son fell into a pit full of water inside an old cotton gin and the father went in after him.

Police say the son and his cousin were trying to drown their pit bull, because the dog was old and wouldn't fight anymore. Before drowning the dog, the son fell in and the cousin ran for help.

18-year-old Eugene Weston Junior and his cousin planned to drown their pit bull in an old abandoned cotton gin across the street from their home.

The gin hadn't been used in more than 30 years and inside the pit was a thick combination of water, oil, diesel fuel, hydraulic fluid, and dirt. As the son looked into the eight to ten foot pit, he slipped and fell in.

The cousin ran for help and called 9-1-1. That's when the father, 42-year-old Eugene Weston Senior, jumped into the pit after his son.

Police say the old gin has been pumped dry and is now covered up. They plan to fill it in with dirt to prevent this kind of accident in the future.

The pit bull is still alive and unharmed.

Man, I normally wouldn't applaud someone being killed, but in this instance....
This is poetic justice at it's finest. I have a pit bull. I can't imagine her in a fight. The thought of it breaks my heart. Those people didn't deserve that dog. Where's Luvgunner? I think he'd like this post.

Men who fight dogs should not have such a painless death.

Enjoy your freedom pooch! [%(]

I actually brightens my day just thinking about how many fewer geniuses humanity will just have to do without now that these two are no longer procreating.

This is God's work fellas, I really believe it is.

The dad was probably the dog fighter,  he is a real asshole,  I have no doubt.

He has ZERO compassion for living things,  that's why he fights dogs and drowns them when they don't perform anymore.

Now he gets to deal with some serious pain,  his son is dead doing something very evil,  drowning a dog that wouldn't fight anymore.

I am glad the idiot is dead,  I am glad the dad gets to deal with it.

I am glad the dog is alive.

Sounds like God did good work that day.

And why not many deserve to be dead, they waste the air for the rest of use.

Ah yes,  the dad did die too didn't he,  oh well.

Wouldn't a punishment of about 10 ferocious pit bulls attacking these guys for eternity be appropriate???

"Police say the old gin has been pumped dry and is now covered up. " Did they remove the bodies first?

That would be good. But even if he doesn’t get that.
Drowning in a pool of diesel fuel with water is one slow terrible way to suffer too.

Glad God does likes to get his hands dirty sometimes.
