Jump wings are NOT "Skydiver" Wings! [pissed]

I get very upset when insignia that MEAN something are "borrowed" to mean something similar in order for that similar thing to look "cool".

BTW, I never earned jump wings, so I would never wear such a ring.

Nah. Looks like they've got the situation well in hand.

I'm picky about these things. I win't even wear T-shirts with insignia I've not earned. Period. No SEALs, no USMC, nothing.

Limits my options though. Not to many cool shirts for Surface Warfare! [bd]

That's okay, USNA makes all kinds of cool stuff, and I DID earn that. It's enough for me...

The Air Force Academy uses Army Jump Wings for their freefall club.  When they graduate, they continue to wear the wings.  Pisses me off.
Oh, and they have some space recon satellite flyers who are considered "Pathfinders"  Guess what insignia they wear.  That is right, Army Pathfinder badge.  Fucking horseshit.  Don't wear what you haven't earned.  The Air Force steals badges that are (or at least were) hard to earn.  
But Army and Navy have the same SCUBA badge.  I went throught the Navy SCUBA school and thought a pretty tough school.  Some guys who went through the Key West SCUBA school have been tweaked a little by it, so I guess I shouldn't bitch too much.
